Northern Ballet Theatre are returning to the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield between 16 – 20 March with their powerful adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights

Ever wanted to know more about how a ballet such as Wuthering Heights is created?  Intrigued about the set and costumes?  Interested in what goes on ‘behind the scenes’?  Then there are a number of events taking place during NBT’s time at the Lyceum that might be of interest to you!

Ballet Explored:

Thursday 18 March: 11.15am – 12.45pm (Cost £3.50 per person)

Join our Dance Artist to find out more about the process involved in designing and producing the wonderful set and costumes, which help create such a wonderful atmosphere and absorbing setting for the production.  After the talk, you will be able to watch the company take their daily class on stage at the theatre. 

Production Event

Thursday 18 March: Following matinee performance for ½ hour (Free)

After the matinee performance relax in your seats to hear about what’s involved in creating the show you have seen.  You will find out about how our technical team cope with the complex lighting changes involved in our productions and what it means to ‘fly’ scenery, in this captivating behind-the-scenes insight.

Pre-Performance Talk

Thursday 18 March: 6.15 – 6.45pm (Free)

Join Northern Ballet Theatre for a fascinating talk about our current production.  The pre-performance talk will be led by a member of the Northern Ballet Theatre team.
